Privacy Policy
The shortest honest privacy policy we could write: your documents never leave your device, so we never have them.
Exhibit Stamper processes every document locally inside your browser. The files you stamp are never uploaded, transmitted, stored, logged, or seen by us or anyone else. There is no server that receives them — by design.
What we do NOT collect
- Your documents. Their contents, names, page counts, and the stamps you apply all stay on your machine.
- Document metadata. We don't record what you stamped, when, or how.
- Document-level tracking. No tool we use — analytics or advertising — can see, follow, or profile the files you stamp; they are processed only on your device.
What we do collect (and why)
To run the website and offer Pro, a limited set of ordinary data is involved:
- Basic web logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to serve the page and protect against abuse. This is infrastructure logging, not document data.
- Analytics & advertising pixels. We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure site traffic and how well our ads perform. They record page visits and basic device/browser information and may set cookies — but never your document content.
- Pro billing. If you purchase Pro, our payment processor collects the information needed to process payment (name, email, card details). We receive a confirmation of payment and your email — never your full card number.
- Email you send us. If you contact us, we keep that correspondence to reply.
Cookies and local storage
The free stamper needs no cookies to function. Pro may use local browser storage to remember your preferences on your own device, and a session cookie to keep you signed in. Our analytics and advertising pixels (Google, Meta) may also set third-party cookies to measure traffic and ad performance.
Third parties
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers — a static hosting/CDN provider to serve the page and a payment processor for Pro. They process only the limited data described above, never your documents.
Your rights
Because we hold almost no personal data, most data-subject requests resolve quickly. You may request access to or deletion of any account/billing data we hold by emailing social@exhibitstamper.com. Document data cannot be requested or deleted from us because we never receive it.
Children
The Service is intended for legal and business professionals and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We'll update the "Last updated" date when this policy changes. Our local-only architecture — the heart of this policy — is a core design commitment, not a setting.
